2022 Christmas Stocking Campaign

The fireplace is up and stockings are ready for us to hang! Every year we invite our members and friends to remember SunCoast MCC in your holiday giving by placing a stocking on the fireplace in memory or honor of someone you love.

It is a time we invite everyone to make that significant year-end gift to our Church that is changing lives and history. You can use the link below to read more about how the Board of Directors is recommending the Christmas Offering be used to support not just SunCoast MCC but our community.

Happy New Year!

As we begin this year, we start by reflecting on what it means to be a community of “Sacred Doing.” 

We will explore how the African American celebration of Kwanzaa is based on principles of acts of faith and cooperation, doing for others. And, we will hear the story of the Holy Family becoming refugees, escaping Herod’s wrath. And, how Joseph's “get up” and take action, does the right thing to save the day.

This meeting is for all current ministry team members and those who are interested in learning about this very important ministry.

We Grieve and Remember

On December 18, 2022, Ron Longstreth, husband of Allen Black, passed away. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 1 PM to honor and celebrate the life of Ron.

Ron was a member of the drumming and lector ministries. He always had a smile and encouraged all of us to live our best authentic life.
