Team TESS at CZI and RESOLUTE Conferences

Our Executive Director and Founder, Kim Nye and our Operations Manager, Amber Black, attended the Chan Zuckerberg Science in Society 2023 Annual Meeting in September.

They connected with other rare leaders and learned more about advancing patient-driven research in the rare disease community. We cannot wait to bring everything we learned to our TESS community!

See more photos from the CZI conference here.

TESS Scientific Director, Dr. Tanya Brown, attended the RESOLUTE conference in Austria to learn about unlocking transporters for drug discovery, specifically relating to solute carriers.

Dr. Brown presented a poster that highlighted preliminary data from our Natural History Study and talked with other academic researchers and industry members who have a vested interest in solute carriers, including SLC13A5!
