Robin Bogan

President WACS Clearwater

It is an honor to have such a great group of women to work with! Not only do we have loads of fun, but we also get a lot done. We work together to provide charitable items to nonprofits who need assistance in doing their own good works. I guess you could say that we support the great leaders and big hearts of our community.

By getting donations from our public, we’re able to plan and deliver the items nonprofit organizations in our area need the most. They allow us to organize food drives and toy drives, provide baskets full of supplies for moms in temporary housing and support schools in need.

If you were to ask us if we have a focus, I’d say the family unit in general; support to the family.

I would like to congratulate our growing group of women in celebration of our first year since formation!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the best team, to our Active Members and our Associate Members, for all the successful projects we’ve completed together in Clearwater.

Welcome moms, grandmoms, teachers, sisters, artists and entrepreneurs! Please join us, you can make your mark here with a variety of projects to choose from.

Our Mission Statement

The Women’s Auxiliary was founded over 20 years ago to lend support to activities which improve the lives of our parishioners and to assist those in our communities.  As Auxiliary members, we are here to help.

WACS Meetings

We hold monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of each month, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. They are held at the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center, on the corner of Drew Street and Fort Harrison Ave., in Clearwater.

The meetings are very organized and last an hour.

Teacher Appreciation Week at Sandy Lane Elementary

We heard they needed some assistance and we jumped into action!

We met with the Principal, Kelly Austin, and the Family Community Liaison, Emily Marlow, at the Sandy Lane school. On their wish list, they stated they needed a microwave oven, so we gave them two! We also delivered a full-size refrigerator and a Keurig Coffee Maker...we even threw in boxes coffee pods!

Amazing helpers!

Between the dates of 8 May and 25 May 2023, we not only donated these items, but we also prepared an abundance of food for the teaching staff, delivering a full spread of tasty treats for their lunch on Friday, 12 May.

We would like to acknowledge the following people for their major donations:

Wendy Noll Graffam donated the two microwaves.

Lindsey Noll Munson donated the Keurig coffee maker and pods.

Tiffany Novitsky donated and delivered a refrigerator.

The food preparation and homemade items were done by many of the incredible WACS members.

We appreciate all these donations very, very much, and so does Sandy Lane!

Thank you so much you wonderful women!
