Be a champion for the community,
join a city board or commission
The City of Cleburne is seeking those interested in being a champion for the community by serving on a city board or commission.

Board and commission members focus on community needs and play a role in the decision making process for a variety of sectors such as economic development, building and standards, parks and recreation, and more. The city is taking applications until Nov. 13.
Whistle Stop lights, parade return
Cleburne's holiday tradition, Whistle Stop, returns to display millions of lights every evening at Hulen Park, Johnson County Courthouse, and Market Square from Nov. 23 to Dec. 31.

The Lighted Christmas Parade is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 in Downtown Cleburne. After the parade, come to Hulen Park for pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a living Nativity Scene, and more.

Meet the Pet of the Week
Meet Pet of the Week Salem! This cute little fella is a gorgeous domestic medium hair that is about 10–12 weeks old. Salem is playful, lovable, and ready for a new home. To schedule an appointment to meet or adopt this cuddly kitty, please go to our website and submit an adoption application. Cat adoptions are only $10 through Nov. 15!
