On September 7th - 10th volunteer leadership attended the Texas REALTORS Shaping Texas Conference. We heard from keynote speaker Retired U.S. Navy Four-Star Admiral and former Chancellor of the University of Texas System William H. McRaven.

If your license Expires, it also goes inactive

Starting October 1, active license holders whose licenses expire will be set to inactive status as of the expiration date, and any license relationships to sales agents and/or brokers will be terminated.

Revised Renewal Requirement

Effective October 1, 2023, sales agents renewing their license for the first time—both active and inactive—are required to complete an approved 30-hour Real Estate Brokerage course as part of their 90 hours of Sales Agent Apprentice Education (SAE).

Breaking News: NFIP Extended in Last-Minute Funding Deal

Following a massive advocacy blitz by the National Association of REALTORS®—which included a rare nationwide call to action—Congress passed a last-minute spending deal Saturday to avert a government shutdown and extend the authority of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

DEADLINE TODAY: 2024 BOARD OF DIRECTOR

Nominating Committee Chair Brooke Hunt encourages all interested members to submit names for consideration. All nominations must be received at GLAR by 4 pm on Friday, September 1st, 2023. Individuals may nominate themselves or another qualified REALTOR® member for the open positions. The Nominating Committee will review applicants and submit a slate for election.
