Spring Tradeshow Mixer - May 8, 2024 | |

Online vendor registration is now open
The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce Spring Tradeshow Mixer is set for May 8, 2024 in the Conference Center at Rosewood Commons.
Companies and organizations can promote themselves, connect with local businesses, and community leaders and grow their customer base by participating as a vendor in this table-top tradeshow. The event features food tastes from local restaurants as well as beer, wine and appetizers and the opportunity to network with businesses in a fun and interactive setting.
VENDORS
Secure your spot today before the vendor spaces sell out. We provide you with a linen covered six-foot table. You bring everything else for your table-top display. Vendors also have the opportunity to select their booth location on a first-come, first-served basis the day of the event beginning at 3:30 p.m. Cost for members to be a vendor is $350. Cost for non-members is $475.
DISCOUNTED VENDOR PACKAGE
We are pleased to offer a discounted rate for those members who plan to participate as a vendor in both of our 2024 Tradeshow Mixers. The Spring event is May 8 and the Fall event is November 13. Discounted combo package for members to be a vendor at both events is $550.

Caltrans Traffic Advisory | |
Full Closure of Southbound I-680
Caltrans is scheduled to close southbound Interstate 680 in Pleasanton between the I-580/I-680 Connector and Koopman Road in Sunol on Friday, April 26 through Monday morning, April 29, 2024.
During the closure, contractor will replace a portion of the existing deteriorated roadway with new pavement on southbound I-680, between the I-580/I-680 Connector and Koopman Road. The work will repair deteriorating existing pavement and enhance motorist safety while reducing the number of nightly closures needed on the project.
The I-680 freeway will be closed in the southbound direction between the I-580/I-680 Connector and Koopman Road from 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 26 to 4:00 a.m. the following Monday, April 29. (In case of rain, closure will be rescheduled)

Hike for Hope 2024
The Hike for Hope is an annual memorial hike and fundraiser that takes place at Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore. We’ve mapped out an out-and-back 4.4-mile route with an optional moderate loop that climbs to a scenic overlook. Or, go with our 1.7-mile route for an easy, flat stroll. Combine all three legs for a 6-mile excursion. Though registration remains open through the event day, sign up by April 5 to secure access to our Early Bird shirt pickup events. Scam Alert from the Small Business Administration (SBA)
We've received reports of scammers targeting small businesses with fake offers of SBA grants and loans. These scams can steal your personal information and even lead to identity theft. These fraudulent emails deceptively use the logos of America's SBDC and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and are being sent from the address: ‘apply@smallbusinessdevelopmentcenter.online’
Please note:
The SBA does not send unsolicited emails offering grants or loans.
Legitimate SBA communications will come from official @sba.gov email addresses.
Be cautious of unsolicited emails requesting sensitive information or requiring payment for a grant or loan application.
If you receive a suspicious email offering an SBA grant or loan, it's crucial that you do not respond or provide any personal information. If you have doubts about the legitimacy of a communication supposedly from the SBA or SBDC, please contact us for verification. You can also forward the email to the FTC at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/ to help track scammers.

The luncheon takes place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the Veterans Memorial Building, 301 Main Street, Pleasanton at 11:30 a.m.

We are actively looking for a host for our
December 12, 2024, networking mixer.
Networking mixers provide the perfect opportunity for business-to-business networking to establish new relationships and business contacts. Mixers are held the second Wednesday of each month and are hosted by various Chamber members at their place of business. They take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Attendees are invited to get a first-hand view of the hosts' facilities, products, and services. Networking mixers are a benefit of Chamber membership and are free for members to attend.
