The District’s commitment to fiscal responsibility includes actively monitoring and pursuing supplemental funding opportunities that offset the District’s use of utility rate revenue and property tax revenue to complete important capital projects. Recent economic stimulus packages approved by state and federal legislators have provided a considerable boost in grant funding administered through county, state, and federal programs. These programs support a variety of projects that address Covid-19 relief, drought mitigation, climate resilience, and investments in critical infrastructure.
