Hey Brewster Day Camp Family and Friends!

Whew - Week #3 was a hot one! Our campers and staff spent ample time staying wet and cool in the pool, at the local ponds and beaches and under the sprinklers. We had a ton of fun playing drip, drip drop and gaga ball in the shade, and spent Friday competing in a rousing and spirited Amazing Race for Green and White Day!

This week is Tie-Dye week, and during Week #4, we celebrate COLOR! Every camper will have the opportunity to tie-dye a white BDC tee-shirt at Art this week, compliments of Brewster Day Camp. All campers and staff are encouraged to wear their tie-dye creations on Friday so we can fill our morning assembly with COLOR! Family and friends are welcome to join us at assembly on Fridays!

BDC Reminders:
If you are coming to BDC for Friday morning assembly, please drop your campers off, and come back to park after 8:45. Thank you!

Have you been to Family Swim yet this summer? Come cool off in our pool from 5:00-6:00 PM, Monday-Friday!

Sincerely,

Morgan Chase

WEEK FOUR AT A GLANCE
-COURAGE-
The Wiannos (rising 7th and 8th grade girls) were part of the winning white team last Friday!
BDC's Amazing Race on Green and White Day was full of sportsmanship, teamwork and good spirit!
-HOPE-
Splish, Splash! Admirals Hill campers enjoy some fun in the pool after their daily swim lesson.

-GOOD SPIRIT-
These Sailors Hill campers cheered on our swim meet participants last Wednesday. It was BDC v. Orleans After School Activities Program, and we came out on top! OASAP will be back for another round Wednesday, August 10th!
-PEACE-
The Sprites (above) and the Windjammers (below), the two tent groups in Mariners Hill Camp, are the youngest campers at BDC. This group of rising 1st and 2nd graders love learning to play sports and going on adventures, like a bus ride to BASE!
If you see their smiling faces around campus, say hello!
-WE CAN & WE WILL-
LOOKING AHEAD: Week #5 is OLYMPIC WEEK! Many consider next Friday the most exciting day at BDC. Campers and counselors are organized into "countries", and compete in Olympic style competitions, like the shot put and discus throws and the triathlon, and in BDC style events, like the slippery watermelon relay and the water balloon toss!
