Learn the principles of basic life support for adults, detailing hands-only CPR, first aid, choking in adults, signs, and symptoms of heart attack and stroke, and treatment for shock. Also learn how AEDs work, and why they are a critical part of emergency cardiac care. Certification is valid for a period of two years. 
August 30th, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
This program is intended to educate workers and project managers about the hazards associated with and safeguards needed to protect workers during excavation activities. Review case studies and participate in hands-on scenario-based activities to further enhance their understanding of this topic.

The Interior Designers Coalition for Change's annual fundraiser takes place on Sunday, September 11th, and features food, networking, and cornhole! The tournament takes place between the boards and members of CAM, IIDA, AIA Detroit, ASID, and other industry professionals, designers, contractors, and students.

"Take a Stand" with MIOSHA August 8th-12th
Across the state on August 8th-12th, 2022, the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration is inviting employers to "Take a Stand" for workplace safety and health. You’ll get free, one-on-one consultations that will help you bolster worker protections without being cited or penalized. Prevent Employee Heat-Related Illnesses This Summer
The heat is on. Every year, dozens of workers die and thousands more become ill while working in hot or humid conditions. Under OSHA law, employers are responsible for providing workplaces free of known safety hazards. This includes protecting workers from extreme heat.
