Updates For Our Community

Dear Hallett Families,

Happy Friday! We had another week filled with joy, fun, and learning! It was so wonderful to see everyone at this morning's Community Circle.

As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday September 11th, as it is our first non-student contact day.

Be sure to continue reading through today's newsletter for important information. We'll see you next Tuesday!

With love,

Dominique Jefferson

Principal

Arrival and Dismissal

When students arrive to school everyday, they are welcomed inside after 8:35 a.m. Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade may go to the cafeteria for breakfast or directly to class. Please note that breakfast service stops promptly at 8:55 a.m. If your child(ren) comes to school after 8:55 a.m. you must accompany them to the office and sign them in.

Though our last bell of the day rings at 3:50 p.m., we dismiss at 3:45 p.m. daily. Please make sure that your child(ren) knows exactly what the plan for transportation is. It's disheartening to see sad faces at the end of the day because children don't know who is picking them up, or when.... If you need care for your children after school, please read below a message from our Discovery Link team, and reach out to the Boys and Girls Club, as they provide transportation to care for children after the school day is done.

  • Monday, September 11: Non-Student Contact Day - No School
  • Friday, September 22: Non-Student Contact Day- No School
  • Monday, October 9: Non-Student Contact Day - No School

Consider Supporting Hallett

The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact and charitable giving at the national and local levels. Every community is unique, but our common goal is to partner with the neighborhoods we serve and help the people there live healthier lives.

One of the ways in which we do this is through our King Soopers Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at King Soopers and swipe your Shopper’s Card. Here’s how it works:

1. Create a digital account.

A digital account is needed to participate in King Soopers Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account so that all transactions apply toward the organization you choose.

2. Link your Card to an organization.

Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the King Soopers Community Rewards selection on your account.

1. Sign in to your account.

2. Search for your organization here.

3. Enter the name the organization you wish to support.

4. Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save”.

Your selected organization will also display in the King Soopers Community Rewards section of your account.

3. Your organization earns.

Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. King Soopers donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating King Soopers Community Rewards organizations.

If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service Center.
