Fall Shoe Drive and Make a Difference!

Dear Space Coast Apartment Association Members,


I hope this message finds you well. As we welcome the beautiful fall season, we're excited to announce the launch of our Fall Shoe Drive! This is an opportunity for all of us, as a community, to come together and make a positive impact on the lives of others while strengthening our own sense of unity.


What is the Fall Shoe Drive all about?

Our goal is to collect as many gently used shoes as possible, and we're counting on the participation of every member community and supplier partner in the Space Coast Apartment Association. These shoes will become an economic lifeline for individuals and families living in developing nations through our partnership with Funds2Orgs.


How Can You Participate?

Spread the Word: Among various other resources linked below, you will find a ready-to-use template to send to residents, encouraging them to participate in the shoe drive. We kindly ask you to promote the shoe drive within your communities and post your progress on social media to inspire others.


Set Up Collection Boxes:

We suggest repurposing appliance boxes to create collection boxes for shoes. Place them in a convenient location within your community. Residents can simply drop their gently used shoes into these boxes. Printable flyers are linked below.


Schedule Pickups:

When your collection box is full, please contact the Space Coast Apartment Association to arrange a pickup. We want to ensure that collecting shoes is as convenient as possible for you.


Our Goal and Timeline:

Our target is to collect at least 4 bags of shoes from each member property and 1 bag of shoes from each supplier partner. The shoe collection will continue until October 31st, so let's maximize our efforts during this time!


Why Participate?

The funds raised from this shoe drive will be directed to The Children's Hunger Project, a local organization. The shoes we collect will create micro-business opportunities for those in developing nations and provide economic stability where it's needed most.
