With the amount of printing we do, you might think that we generate a great deal of trash. In fact, it is far less than you might think!

We believe in being good stewards of the community, and that

includes managing our waste responsibly. Our production software positions every print job to fit the press as efficiently as possible. What paper and cardboard trimmings there are, are separated and sent to the recycling center to live again in post-consumer paper products. One ton (2000 pounds) of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill space, 4000 kilowatts of energy, and 7000 gallons of water. This represents a 64% increase in energy savings, a 58% improvement in water savings, and 60 pounds less of air pollution!
