FIRE FIGHTER I & II - HYBRID: Online Video Lecture w/Skills Weekends

This course is based on NFPA 1001: Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications. The course is designed for the person who seeks the knowledge and skills to function as an integral member of a firefighting team under direct or general supervision in hazardous conditions. The Fire Fighter I/II course consists of a combination of online video lecture study, drill field practice, and training evolutions that will prepare the fire fighter to perform most fire ground functions under the supervision of an officer or experienced firefighter. Includes live burn.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER INITIAL - 2 Weekend Course
48 hours - All in class - NO out of class work! 
The Emergency Medical Responder course meets or exceeds the United States DOT Curriculum and the State of Minnesota EMS Regulatory Board.  The EMR is an integral part of the Emergency Medical Services System. The goal of this course is to provide the students with core knowledge, skills, and attitudes to function in the capacity of an Emergency Medical Responder. Upon successful completion of this course, the participant will be certified as an Emergency Medical Responder by the State of Minnesota EMS Regulatory Board.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN - Hybrid + 3 Weekend Course 
160 hours:  Online video lecture + 72 hours of skills training. 
This Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course meets or exceeds the United States DOT Curriculum, along with the National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards adopted by the State of Minnesota EMS Regulatory Board. The goal is to provide the students with the core knowledge, skills and attitudes to function in the capacity of an EMT in the State of Minnesota. Upon successful completion of this course, the participant will be eligible to take the NREMT cognitive exam in order to receive certification as an EMT by the State of Minnesota, and become Nationally Registered as an EMT.
