Dear Families of the MS 104 Community:

I hope this message finds everyone doing well. Earlier this week, our PTA announced that we reached our goal of raising $50,000 in donations which has resulted in $100,000 of funding being raised for the school through the match program! I am beyond grateful for this amazing show of generosity from our amazing families. I thank each and every one of our families not only for their contributions to this particular fundraiser, but for all of the contributions that are made in so many ways over the course of a school year. Whether it be making a financial donation, volunteering at a student event, attending a student performance or sporting event, purchasing school swag, or attending a community event, your contributions are impactful and contribute to the sense of community we have in our school. Thank you for your continued support, collaboration, and partnership.

Family Holiday Mixer on Monday, December 19th

The holiday season is upon us! The PTA, SLT, and I thought it would be nice to plan an event for members of our community to come together, mingle, and have some holiday treats as we culminate 2022.

I am excited to announce we will be hosting our first ever Holiday Mixer on Monday, December 19th from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the school. All members of the community are invited to attend, free of charge. We will have holiday treats, beverages, and music, providing families an opportunity to mingle, get to know one another, and celebrate the holiday season.

While not required, families are welcome to bring a peanut free holiday treat to share at the party.

In order for us to prepare accordingly, please RSVP using this form by Wednesday, December 14th.

Volunteer for the BRRR-UCH Winter Celebration on Wednesday, December 21st!

I am excited to announce that our next celebratory student event, the BRRR-UCH Winter Celebration, will take place on Wednesday, December 21st! This will be an indoor event with each grade getting 90 minutes of fun in our cafeteria and gymnasium. There will be a DJ, two photo booths, tabletop games, arts and crafts, and a candy station!

As always, many adults are needed to make large events such as these happen. Volunteering at PTA sponsored events are as valuable a contribution as one can make to our school community. Without the requisite amount of volunteers, we will be unable to make available the full menu of activities we have planned for this event. We would greatly appreciate your support in volunteering for the BRRR-UCH celebration.

Winter Strings Concert on Thursday, December 15th!

Our first music concert of the year is scheduled for Thursday, December 15th at 5 PM! The concert will feature Mr. Klonowski's seventh and eighth grade strings students and the Chamber Orchestra.

All students and families are welcome and encouraged to attend this wonderful event.

12 月 19 日星期一的家庭假日混音器

12 月 21 日，星期三，成为 BRRR-UCH 冬季庆典的志愿者！

我很高兴地宣布，我们的下一次庆祝学生活动 BRRR-UCH 冬季庆祝活动将于 12 月 21 日星期三举行！这将是一项室内活动，每个年级都会在我们的自助餐厅和体育馆享受 90 分钟的乐趣。将有一名 DJ、两个照相亭、桌面游戏、手工艺品和一个糖果站！

Espero que este mensaje encuentre a todos bien. A principios de esta semana, nuestra PTA anunció que alcanzamos nuestra meta de recaudar $50,000 en donaciones, lo que resultó en $100,000 en fondos recaudados para la escuela a través del programa de contrapartida. Estoy más que agradecido por esta increíble muestra de generosidad de nuestras increíbles familias. Agradezco a todas y cada una de nuestras familias no solo por sus contribuciones a esta recaudación de fondos en particular, sino por todas las contribuciones que se realizan de tantas maneras en el transcurso de un año escolar. Mezcla de vacaciones familiares el lunes 19 de diciembre

¡La temporada navideña está sobre nosotros! La PTA, SLT y yo pensamos que sería bueno planificar un evento para que los miembros de nuestra comunidad se reúnan, se mezclen y tengan algunas delicias navideñas a medida que culminamos 2022.

Me complace anunciar que organizaremos nuestro primer Holiday Mixer el lunes 19 de diciembre de 3:30 p. m. a 5:30 p. m. en la escuela. Todos los miembros de la comunidad están invitados a asistir, sin costo alguno. Tendremos golosinas navideñas, bebidas y música, brindando a las familias la oportunidad de relacionarse, conocerse y celebrar la temporada navideña.

Si bien no es obligatorio, las familias pueden traer un obsequio navideño sin maní para compartir en la fiesta.

¡Sea voluntario para la celebración de invierno de BRRR-UCH el miércoles 21 de diciembre!

¡Estoy emocionado de anunciar que nuestro próximo evento estudiantil de celebración, la celebración de invierno BRRR-UCH, se llevará a cabo el miércoles 21 de diciembre! Este será un evento bajo techo y cada grado tendrá 90 minutos de diversión en nuestra cafetería y gimnasio. ¡Habrá un DJ, dos cabinas de fotos, juegos de mesa, manualidades y una estación de dulces!

Como siempre, se necesitan muchos adultos para que grandes eventos como estos sucedan. Ser voluntario en los eventos patrocinados por la PTA es una contribución tan valiosa como la que uno puede hacer a nuestra comunidad escolar. Sin la cantidad necesaria de voluntarios, no podremos poner a disposición el menú completo de actividades que hemos planeado para este evento. Agradeceríamos mucho su apoyo como voluntario para la celebración de BRRR-UCH.

¡Concierto de cuerdas de invierno el jueves 15 de diciembre!

¡Nuestro primer concierto de música del año está programado para el jueves 15 de diciembre a las 5 p. m.! El concierto contará con los estudiantes de cuerdas de séptimo y octavo grado del Sr. Klonowski y la Orquesta de Cámara.

Todos los estudiantes y familias son bienvenidos y animados a asistir a este maravilloso evento.
