The Foundation for Douglas County Schools is excited to report that this year's annual Lend A Hand School Supply Drive was a great success because of the support of corporate and private sponsors, community donations, and 103 volunteers contributing over 249 volunteer hours! This year, we received over 1,700 requests for grade appropriate school supply filled backpacks, and were excited to deliver them at several backpack distribution events across the district.  At the end of our backpack distribution, our DCSD teachers were invited to join the Foundation at a Grab 'N Go event where they were able to pick up donated school and classroom supplies to assist in their preparation for the start of the new school year. 

Lend A Hand ensures that every student starts the 2023-2024 school year with the supplies they need to help them be successful in school.

ANNUAL BACK-TO-SCHOOL CHAPTER MEETING FOR CHAPTER OFFICERS

Our BACK-TO-SCHOOL CHAPTER MEETING this year will be held at the Millhouse at the Philip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock. We can’t wait to see everyone this year and share some new updates!

The event will kick off with a Vendor Fair showcasing some of our awesome Preferred Vendors, then move to a brief business meeting along with a question-and-answer session.
