YHDP updates for the MO BoS CoC Board of Directors and Youth Action Board!

Action Steps

This week, YAB had a special meeting on 9/11/23 to discuss recent events and review RFP materials for submission to the CoC Board. The RFP materials that were approved in that meeting were sent to the CoC Board on Tuesday. The following parts of the RFP that have been submitted are:

Alternative Requirements
RFP Timeline (for the Board)
RFP Terms, Definitions, and Acronyms.

The YAB RFP Workgroup has been meeting daily for 1-2-hours to further develop components of the RFP. The YAB is working assiduously on the RFP, driving toward a complete draft for CoC Board review on 9/18.

Project Scope and Expectations

The YAB has reviewed changes to the Project Scopes based on the CoC Board recommendations and is making adjustments in the RFP accordingly.

Youth Action Board Meeting Updates

The YAB will meet on 9/18 to review and vote to approve the remainder of RFP materials and then send them to the CoC Board. The YAB Compensation Policy is completed and will be reviewed and a vote will be held to approve the policy on 9/18, time permitting.

Coming Up (Next Actions)

The CoC Board will be reviewing the draft RFP sent this week and giving feedback to the YAB. The YAB is waiting for the Grants committee to finalize the ARRP.
