⚾ Play Ball! Miracle League This Fall and Other Adapted Recreation Programs

Miracle League Begins This Fall!

Prince William County Parks Recreation and Tourism invites you and your family to attend our annual Miracle League! The Miracle League program works to eliminate the main barriers for youth and adults with mental and physical disabilities that arise from playing on natural grass fields used in conventional leagues. The Miracle League program will play this year on a custom designed, rubberized surface field at Dr. Richard Tami Miracle Field located at George Hellwig Memorial Park.

Come make new friends and learn to build self-esteem while being treated just like other athletes. Participants between the ages of 5-99 are welcome, regardless of their ability to play baseball. Participants will be given the opportunity to hit a ball off a batting tee. They may also be pitched to depending on their ability. Participants will also throw or catch a ball and score a run.

Dates: Saturdays, August 20 - October 1, 2022 (6 Week Season). Off 9/3 for Labor Day Weekend

Time: 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. *Games are not expected to exceed 1.5 hours

Fee: $25

Ages: 5 - 99
