Sacred Ground Survey

Interested in an online circle?

In response to excitement Sacred Ground is generating, The Beloved Community Commission is gathering information about who in our diocese is interested in taking part in the series and also, who is interested in having some follow-up sessions. We will use this information to help organize Sacred Ground circles and follow-up sessions in the coming year.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below which will provide information needed to help our diocese meet your needs for Sacred Ground training and follow-up.

Global Missions forming Welcome Corps

Your parish can help refugees

The U.S. State Department has recently inaugurated the Welcome Corps, a structured program by means of which congregations, colleges, and other private groups may sponsor and support the resettlement of authorized refugees.

The diocesan Global Missions Committee urges all Episcopalians to explore this invitation.

An Episcopal Path to Creation Justice

The Creation Care Justice Network in the dioceses of Massachusetts and Western Massachusetts will be offering a pilot program for its newly created “An Episcopal Path to Creation Justice.” The program aims to provide individualized support for congregations to take meaningful steps in response to the climate emergency.

Twelve congregations will be actively sought to participate in the six-month pilot program (October 2023 through April 2024). Pilot congregations will receive individualized coaching, access to extensive resource materials, and networking with a cohort of other congregations across Massachusetts who are engaged in this work.

FOR INFORMATION: The Rev. Rachel Field, project coordinator.

The Creation Care Justice Network in Massachusetts is a group of Episcopalians from across our state who are committed to faith-based environmental justice and climate action. They draw upon the strong environmental messages from our bishops and The Episcopal Church as well as our diocesan mission to protect creation and seek ways to work collaboratively to address the climate crisis in a just and equitable way.

To attend the next meeting, email creationjusticeepisma@gmail.com to confirm and to get the Zoom link.
