When we think of May, we think: FLOWERS! From Achillea to Zephyranthes, the nursery is awash in color, fragrance, and the exuberance of new life.
In this month's newsletter, we're all about flowers, from bouquet-worthy garden blooms, to roses that will stop you in your tracks, to helpful tips for making the most out of your late-spring flower gardens and landscapes.
We are busier than ever this season, so please plan ahead and get your orders in early. You can email us for a quote, order via phone for will-call or delivery, or come visit us and pick out your plants in person (we highly recommend this option - see why in this month's "Behind the Scenes" feature below!).
We are grateful for your business and look forward to seeing you again soon - please let us know what we can do to help you find the plants you need, when you need them.
Wishing you a vibrant, healthy, colorful spring,
Jane

Kariña and Brandon stop and smell the roses! | Photos: JA
|

Working with plants all day, it's hard not to appreciate the many wonderful scents that pervade the nursery - and even though we work hard, we love to stop and smell the roses! Above, you can see Kariña and Brandon getting to know Rosa hybrida 'Cinco De Mayo' (our favorite rose this month) and Rosa floribunda 'Gingersnap' with its vibrant, eye-catching orange petals. Of course, roses also make wonderful cut flowers - add yours to a bouquet with this month's featured flowers, or bundle solo or in combination with other rose varieties.
