N95 Masks and COVID-19 Rapid Testing Kit Distribution

FREE N95 Masks and COVID-9 Rapid Testing Kits are available, by request, to patients and community members at all CHDC locations. Patients will be able to request and pick up masks and testing kits at their appointment or by coming to the health center. If you are not a patient, please visit one of our four (4) health center locations to request and pick up your masks and testing kits. Masks will be limited to three (3) N95 Masks per person and Testing Kits will be limited to two (2) testing kits per person.

COVID-19 Vaccines

CHDC is pleased to offer both Moderna and Pfizer Covid vaccines at our Coventry Mall location. We offer 1st, 2nd, 3rd and booster doses for patients 12 years and older. Boosters are available 5 months after the completion of your Covid vaccine series and your vaccination card is required upon scheduled appointment. To schedule an appointment, please email covidreg@ch-dc.org or call 484-941-9991.

In addition, CHDC offers Pfizer Pediatric Covid-19 vaccines for children ages 6 Months and up during a scheduled pediatric office visit. If the child is not a CHDC patient and but is interested in receiving a Covid vaccine, we periodically hold Covid-19 vaccine clinics at our Coventry Mall location. Your child will need to be registered for a clinic at our health center and an appointment will be made at that time. Stay tuned for announcements regarding upcoming pediatric vaccine clinics.

All- Staff Picnic

Community Health and Dental Care held an All Staff Meeting to provide important medical safety training and recognize staff with five and ten year anniversaries for their commitment and dedication to provide quality, compassionate care serving our patient community. Afterwards, the staff enjoyed an All Staff Picnic with an on location barbeque from Moyer’s and water ice from Tropical Sno. The CHDC parking lot turned into a cornhole tournament complete with a DJ and life-sized games. We appreciate our staff and are so thankful we had the opportunity to gather and celebrate together on such a beautiful Summer day.

A Success Story from Barto 

Salvatore was diagnosed with Autism at age 3 and had been in special needs classes since then. He has received PT, OT, and Speech therapies in school, but his mother felt he never really received the one on one service that he received until he met with Dr. Adlersberg. She gave him hope and worked with him to improve his gait, his walking, and muscle function to the point that he can walk in the community now with confidence. Because of Dr. Adlersberg, Salvatore had regained his confidence.

Throughout the month of July, we are highlighting:

These awareness months encourage us to take the time to learn more about various health causes. Click the links to learn more and spread the word!

Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver, most commonly caused by a viral infection. "I Can’t Wait" is the new campaign theme to launch World Hepatitis Day 2022. It will highlight the need to accelerate the fight against viral hepatitis and the importance of testing and treatment for the people who need it. The campaign will amplify the voices of people affected by viral hepatitis calling for immediate action and the end of stigma and discrimination.

The sun emits radiation known as UV-A and UV-B rays which can damage your eyes and skin. Unprotected sun exposure can cause vision problems and damage to your eyes, cause premature aging of the skin, or skin cancer. You can protect yourself by staying in the shade, covering up, or using the right amount of SPF 30 sunscreen
