Jonathon was transported via ambulance to JRC almost 3 years ago. Due to his significant behavioral history Jonathon required 1:1 staffing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With JRC's consistent behavioral programming Jonathon has been able to refrain from inappropriate behaviors for extended periods of time. As a result, Jonathon is off all previously prescribed medication and no longer requires any 1:1 staffing.

This improvement in behavior has allowed Jonathon to excel in school! Jonathon has enjoyed attending social gatherings such as parties, dances, and even the Prom!

Jonathon has been able to increase his level of independence and has even had several successful home visits with his grandmother.

"In the time he has been at JRC I believe he has made the most positive change. My goal is to reunite him home with myself and his family. I love my grandson and will always be there for him."

Jonathon has worked at several in-school jobs such as helping out in the Housekeeping Department, Education Department, and as an administrative aide. Jonathon is a hard worker and always seen with a smile!

Jonathon also enjoys playing video games, watching TV, and going on community outings. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and a role model to other students.

His motto: "Keep pushing forward and you will get success."

Jonathon has certainly earned the spotlight at JRC and we wish him continued success as he graduates and returns home!
