PARADE ROUTE & ROAD CLOSURES NOTICE >> This Saturday, December 10, features two Lost Pines Christmas events, the Lost Pines Christmas Festival and the Lighted Christmas Parade. The holiday festivities will require road closures and safety measures that will result in some traffic delays and detours. See the below map that outlines three phases of road closures.

Starting at 6 AM and lasting through the end of the parade (approx. 9 PM), the two blocks of Main between Spring and Pine Streets will be closed to vehicles. Chestnut Street will remain open until 5:30 PM. Enjoy shipping, vendor booths, and lots of fun activities!

Beginning at 2 PM, barricades that will block off the parade route will start being placed. This will cause intermittent closures along the parade route. Chestnut will remain open and provide the best access to downtown locations. Expect detours and delays.

At 5:30 PM, Chestnut St. will be closed from Main St. to Hill St. At this time and lasting through the duration of the parade, the entire parade route will be closed to vehicles entering or exiting.

Public parking is available along most downtown streets and in public lots. The Bastrop Convention Center and Bastrop City Hall are marked in purple in the map below and citizens are encouraged to use these lots to access the parade or access their vehicles that would otherwise be inaccessible during the parade hours.

CARTS and eCabs will be available to shuttle from these lots into downtown.
