CREEKSIDE LODGE COMPLETION!

What has seemed daunting and impossible for 28 years has become reality! Through God’s provision and people’s generosity, our Creekside Lodge complete remodel was granted its Certificate of Occupancy this week! This is truly a miracle! Please plan to join us for our annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 1^st as we celebrate 5,040 new sq. ft. of God’s goodness!

MJ MURDOCK GRANTS!

We are deeply grateful for the vision of Jack Murdock, the man behind the MJ Murdock Trust in Vancouver, WA. Camp Jonah has been the recipient of three incredible grants from this foundation in our 28-year history. The first grant ($94,000) funded the purchase and remodel of our Camp Store, the second grant ($105,000) helped us to purchase the Taylor property (where the Duke’s now live), and the third grant ($200,000) propelled us toward completion of Creekside! We will be forever grateful to the generosity and foresight of one man who has made a huge impact in this camp and ministry.

CAMPER KASIA

Last summer eight-year-old Kasia Marie Hylton attended Day Camp here for the first time. She loved boarding the bus to-and-from camp and thoroughly enjoyed her time at camp. These special memories are held dear by her family and friends as they mourn the loss of this sweet girl. In her honor a fundraiser is being held with the goal of celebrating her life and raising funds to help Camp Jonah purchase a new-to-us, bigger bus so that we can transport more kids to our growing camps!

THRIVE WOMEN'S SEMINAR May 3-5

Each spring a group of ladies come together to seek Jesus. Facilitated by Sarah Hatfield and Sandee Doughton, we are filled with the newness of spring and fresh filling of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Come join us as we laugh, pray, worship, seek, and find together as women seeking the Savior.

We hope you can join us for one of our favorite days of the year – FAMILY FUN DAY! Bring your family and friends here at camp from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday, June 1^st. This is a day of free fun, fantastic food (by Big Herm’s BBQ), a reunion of Jonah people, a celebration of our new Creekside Lodge and a State of the Camp address. Come laugh, play, eat, chat, tour, celebrate and hear some future vision from our Board of Directors.

ONLINE AUCTION

Want to be part of something important?!! Our annual online auction is extremely valuable in helping us to hire our Summer Leadership Team. Watch social media for more information and a list of auction items. The auction dates are May 25 – 31. Pick up of items will be at our Family Fun Day. Our dream is to grow this auction in a big way to start paying our college-age staff. This would mean adding some big items. Would you dream and pray BIG with us as to how you might be able to participate?

We’re on a prayerful hunt for Jesus-loving volunteers who are looking to do something out-of-the-ordinary for a week or more this summer. Any chance you’d like to help make camp happen at Camp Jonah? There are still positions available, both part-time and full-time, behind the scenes, and up front. We also have two paid (sub-minimum wage) leadership positions remaining. Fill a need, meet your new best friends, build your resume, and make a difference at Camp Jonah this summer!
