Following remarkable careers that impacted the Reinhardt community, several faculty and employees now look to new adventures in retirement. A celebration of their contributions took place at the president’s home earlier this week.
Dr. Linda Morgan, Interim Dean of the Cauble School of Nursing and Health Sciences contributed to the success of the new nursing program during her six years at Reinhardt. Following 12 years serving as Director of Choral Activities and Professor of Music, Dr. Roberts says Dr. Martha Shaw is renowned for her “incredible ability to bring beautiful voices out of groups of people."
With an impressive tenure of 35 years at Reinhardt, the legacy left by Dr. Michelle Harlow, Associate Professor of English is one of energetically teaching the critical skill of thinking through writing, as well as exposing students to extraordinary things in the world.

Josh Garner to Begin New Role | |
Josh Garner looks forward to becoming the new Director of Student Development and focusing on career and leadership development. Since 2020, Garner served as the Director of Spiritual Life, Leadership, and Service, including leading Campus Ministries and volunteerism.
This new position reports to Dean of Students Dr. Walter May who explains, “The focus on calling and vocation is to help students understand that life after graduation is more than just a series of jobs. Josh will guide students as they design a career plan that encompasses a blend of their personal and professional ambitions. The secondary focus on leadership development is to help students develop the skills and competencies to enhance their professional and personal development. A part of Josh's new role will be working with corporations, agencies, and organizations locally and nationally to establish internships and vocational opportunities for Reinhardt students.”

A redesign of the Reinhardt University website encapsulates the University’s core statements and academic programming in a visually pleasing and easy-to-use style. Following a long behind-the-scenes process to reorganize information for easier navigation, increase functionality, and offer faster loading times, the website went live on April 8th.
The clean, contemporary look appeals to the current Reinhardt community, and external site visitors. Marketing Content Creator and Website Manager Paige Bronner put great effort into the new website. She is pleased with the results saying, “Reinhardt is an impressive university that focuses on educating the whole person, and I feel that our website now truly reflects that culture.”
