2024 Contribution and Admin Fee Requests

In early December we will kick off our first-ever request for a Minimum Annual Contribution (MAC) of $200 along with $25.00 for the 2024 Administration Fee. You may recall that in the April newsletter we announced a new approach to building up our Grantable Fund (Fund 2) each year. To fund our Grant giving process we shifted away from fundraising events and requests for donations of gifts (like bottles of wine for gift baskets) throughout the year to a Minimal Annual Contribution of $200.00 from each member.

For those of you who have opted from a 5-year pledge payment option and have not yet reached the full $1,000.00, there is no change. Your annual $200.00 due January, 2024 will be applied against the Pledge. For the rest, there is now a Minimal Annual Contribution to keep your membership active in TLC Womenโ€™s Giving Circle. The MAC and partial pledge payments go directly to the Grantable Fund and will be put into action by year end thanks to the efforts of our Grant Committee.

Last year we started an Administrative Fee of $25.00 per member and will continue that in 2024. This fee covers our operating expenses such as postage, website maintenance, online subscriptions fees, accounting and legal fees.

As always, please contact us if you have any questions or if you do not receive the email laying out the details for these payments specific to you. Lauren Hirsch at TLCWGC.finance@gmail.com or call 847-875-4685.

2023 Key Events & Successes

As we reflect on the incredible year that was 2023, we are filled with gratitude for the enriching experiences and meaningful service activities that our Women's Circle has been a part of. From our drive to support Solve Maternity, to organizing clothing items at Mothers Helping Mothers, packing grocery bags at Feeding Empty Little Tummies, to filling backpacks at Tidewell Blue Butterfly Family Grief Center, our journey this year was not just about coming together as a community but actively stretching out our hands and opening our hearts to those in need.

These events and activities not only brought us closer as a group but also allowed us to make a tangible impact in our community.
