Greetings Ministry Partner,

“You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”

2 Timothy 2:2

We are just following the philosophy as the Word above states. We had a chance to train other pastors to teach others in a Teacher Training Workshop (TTW). There are three pastors who promise to take over the class with 17 students and they plan to open a new class in their area soon. This is the Lord’s way to make disciples; life-to-life and step-by-step and then, entrust others to teach others.

While my wife and I, who are currently in Canada, are absent from the field and will join the Fall Tour Team in August, some teachers in Laos will work by themselves. May the Lord guide them. Amen.

Staff Update

Pastor S continues with two CCI classes, one is studying Book 6 with six students and another class is on Book 2 with six students, who is being taught by Tom, who is under the leadership of Pastor S.

Pastor K continues to visit churches to share and promote the CCI ministry at the new house church. Pastor K also recruited a few pastors to take to the TTW.

Testimony

"I serve as the leader of the Women's Ministry in my church. I would like to give thanks to CCI for bringing this great opportunity for me to participate in a CCI class. Before, I just served the best I could from my own thought and understanding and I did not pay attention in Bible reading. I felt that I was lacking and working hard for nothing because sometimes I was burned out and many times I gave up. But since I began to study with CCI, I read the Bible more and spend time in devotion. As a result, I understand the principle of reading and studying the Bible. I gain knowledge and learn how to rely on the Holy Spirit, instead of my own understanding. Thank you, CCI! Now I intend to use what I have learned from the class to teach others and encourage them to teach others as well."

Prayer Requests & Praises

● Please pray God to protect our team who go out reaching the people for Christ and for the class meetings

● Pray for expansion of our ministry in new remote areas. And pray that God will help us reach the north of Laos.

● Pray for the alumni, who graduated from our program, to overcome their fear and be active in their ministries.

● Pray for a new class that will be opened soon near the north. There is one pastor signed up to be the teacher for this new class.

● Praise God that the National Director and his wife arrived safely in Canada. They are having a great time visiting with family. Please pray as they share sweet fellowship with their children and grandchildren for the next several weeks.

● Please pray for the finances for our team to attend the CCI Global Conference in Thailand this November.
