Refreshing our Mission Together 2025-letter two
Dear CTK Members and Friends in Christ Jesus,
You should have received a letter of introduction announcing the 2025 CTK Stewardship campaign entitled “Refreshing our Mission Together 2025” this past week. In the first letter, we spoke about the many blessings we received this past year.
We have just finished up the holiday season where we were able to share time and gifts with our family and friends. The best gift we all received was God’s gift of his son Jesus Christ whose birth we just celebrated. In the scripture readings for January, we heard about the Wisemen who came to Bethlehem to pay homage to Jesus and to share their gifts with the Christ child.
The Refreshing our Mission Brochure and Pledge card, which contains the Ministry Initiatives or goals for 2025. Just as God led the Magi by a star and a dream, these initiatives will lead Christ the King’s work together. CTK will embark on the Synod Initiative: “Adventures in Renewal,” a program that will refresh our mission and ministry. Please prayerfully consider being part of the steering team and speak with a member of the council. We look forward to following God’s guiding star, and sharing our gifts with one another. Please return the Pledge card on Commitment Sunday, Feb. 9 2025.
It is up to us to search in our hearts and to decide what gifts we will share in support of CTK for 2025. Remember God loves a cheerful giver.
Thank you and God’s Blessings!
Stewardship Committee
On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

The Ulster Project
Our future lies in our youth.
The Ulster Project is an international peace, leadership and justice experience that promotes peacemaking, conflict resolution and empowerment for teens (ages 14-16)
The Ulster Project is currently looking for a few families in our area willing to host a Northern Irish teen for the month of July.
Teens from Northern Ireland live with their host families for one month while both Northern Ireland and American teens participate in a full calendar of activities we call “The Project”.
There is no charge to participate in the Project. Host families cover only the expenses of housing their Northern Irish teen and personal family activities during the month. Flights for the visiting teens and all other events and activities are funded through The Ulster Project. Teens earn 150 Service hours towards high school graduation/college applications.
If you have a freshman or sophomore teen who would like to learn more about the Ulster Project. Please contact Karyn Lemanczyk, Host Family Coordinator at lemanczyk.karyn2@gmail.com or 414-416-3803
