CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
Psalm 98:4 "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise."
At Immanuel we rejoice having children with us in worship!! Will they always be quiet and well behaved? No, but the occasional noise and activity is an important part of the commitment we make at each child's baptism to support their caregivers in faith development and teaching about worship. Thanks be to God!

SENIOR PASTOR TRANSITION
DRAFT MINISTRY SITE PROFILE
As previously mentioned, the Transition Team has been developing the draft Senior Pastor Ministry Site Profile (MSP) using the information gathered during the input sessions along with other key information about Immanuel. We are providing MSP for your review prior to the Annual Meeting on January 26, 2025. Text sections as substantially complete but some items, such as references and call committee chair, are still be finalized so you will note TBDs in those areas.
If you have questions or comments, please bring those to the Annual meeting or reach out to myself or any of the Transition Team members. It is our plan to finalize the MSP by early to mid-February. Please continue to keep the Transition team and Immanuel in your prayers during this time of transition.

COAT DRIVE & GIFT CARDS
Supporting LSS Refugee Services
The Refugee Services of LSS is in urgent need of winter coats and gift cards because it has received more refugees this month than originally expected. Our newest neighbors need adult men and women's winter coats, sizes medium, large and extra-large, to acclimate to the temperatures of Minnesota’s winter. Packaged toothbrushes and full-size tubes of toothpaste are also needed. Additionally, LSS Refugee Services could use gift cards in any monetary amount from Wal-Mart, Target or Aldi to assist in procuring items for household goods. Another way to support the refugees is through the LSS Minnesota- Refugee Services' Community Wish list from Target. Please drop winter coats and gift cards off at church ASAP and Kelly Kautz will deliver the items to LSS. Contact kellykautz@hotmail.com or micah.sherwin@lssmn.org with questions.
