Ribbon Cutting Events in Rosemount

The Chamber joined the City of Rosemount, legislators, and the community to welcome two new businesses to the region.

Mr. Wish is a healthy fresh fruit tea beverage company that originated in Taiwan and expanded to the U.S. It is the first store location in Minnesota. Mr. Wish’s vision is to spread good quality tea drinks and hopes to every corner of the world. Their motto is “have a drink, make a wish.”

North 20 Brewing Co is the first microbrewing location in Rosemount. Its rural location has beautiful views off the patio, a small taproom, a private party area, and spacious area and bar to socialize and enjoy the brewed beers. This a family-owned operation, and the sons are DCTC graduates of the Brewing & Beer Steward Technology program. As to the name, it is a testament to their grandpa who enjoyed driving up the dirt road on his John Deere to mow the “North 20.”

AAPISTRONG: Small Business Grants

AAPISTRONG: Small Business Grants will award Asian and Pacific Islander American-owned businesses cash grants and valuable resources. The new initiative is a national program that will give $10,000 cash awards to 40 AAPI business owners who launched their businesses during the pandemic, and $25,000 cash awards to 60 AAPI business owners who launched prior to the pandemic and made it through. Applications close on July 26.

Food Trucks Roll into Eagan Food Truck Festival on Friday, August 12

Eagan’s Food Truck Festival is back on Friday, August 12 from 4:00 – 9:00 PM at Eagan Festival Grounds.

The free event promises to be a salty and sweet Friday evening with more than 20 food trucks representing tastes from across the globe. Beer, wine, and seltzer will be served in addition to brews from local breweries, and entertainment by B2wins and Flash Mob.
