Every choice you’ve made has led you to your current reality.

How does that sentence resonate with you? It may feel encouraging. It may feel challenging. It may bring up mixed thoughts and emotions. Our journey’s as humans are undoubtedly going to have experiences that are difficult to navigate, especially when we are working together as a team. Yet, we have the opportunity to feel much more supported and magnify our own potential and the potential of our team when we choose to raise our awareness and be intentional with our behaviors.

This month we gave the option to focus on 1 of the 5 mindsets below:

  1. Prioritizing presence
  2. Being responsible and flexible
  3. Choosing positive outcomes
  4. Having emotional understanding and being more regulated
  5. Problem solving

The mindset is the starting place of where you can put your focus. Once you’ve been intentional in identifying your mindset, you can take action with behaviors. We want to keep supporting you with tools and resources for your best outcomes – so - we’re providing you with several behaviors to practice as you increase your mindset and Magnify the Potential of your team.

  • Active listening
  • Making eye contact
  • Being open to change
  • Setting a calendar alert to check in with teammates
  • Identifying the desired outcome in advance
  • Being open to lessons when things don’t go as planned
  • Taking deep breaths before responding to something or someone when triggered
  • Slowing down to gain clarity
  • Collaborating with others for creative solutions to problems
  • Engaging with your imagination to imagine new ways of doing things

Practice 3 of the behaviors above or come up with your own as you lead by example and choose to magnify the potential in your team.

Stay tuned next week to complete the strategy!

With Gratitude,

Tess & Chelsea
