COLLEGE PREP TESTS FOR GRADES 10-11

Testing Fee, Grades 10-11, 2023-24 year

Trivium Prep will be administering several standardized tests to the 10th and 11th grade throughout the school year, during the school day and on campus. This fee covers the cost incurred for testing fees and supplies. Study guides and/or practice tests will be available for pickup from the college counseling department before the tests in the fall.  

• PSAT: 10th Grade - Tuesday, October 24, 2023; 11th Grade - Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
• PreACT: Tuesday, April 2, 2024 for grade 10 
• Practice ACT: Friday, Feb 2, 2024 for grade 11 

These tests are an invaluable tool to prepare for the SAT and ACT, and ultimately college entrance. It is important to note that each test is a tool and is practice. The test is not sent to colleges directly. It gives a baseline of strengths and weaknesses and begins the journey and preparation for the SAT and ACT. Test scores are also used to identify National Merit Scholars and award merit scholarships. These are nationwide tests and are typically available to schools during a very specific and limited window of time.
