COUNTY RECEIVES VDOT FUNDING FOR ROAD EXTENSION

In September, the Commonwealth Transportation Board approved an $850,000 Economic Development Access Grant for Isle of Wight County. The grant will be used to help fund the extension of William A. Gwaltney Way within Shirley T. Holland Intermodal Park Phase II, which will provide access to a 42-acre site and a planned 352,000 square-foot industrial building known as 460 Commerce Center.

The Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with The Addison Group to bring you a 3-part digital marketing series focused on: Making Your Website Win, Growing Your Leads and Sales, and Finding Hidden Profit Through Email Marketing. This 3-part series will be held the 2nd Thursday of September, October, and November in the Tea-Tonic Tea Room at the Smithfield Gourmet Bakery and Cafe, 218 Main Street, Smithfield, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Lunch will be included.
