Summer Camp Program

SOARLAND Summer Camp

SOAR Camp is the nation's largest summer day camp for individuals ages 3 and up with disabilities along with providing families with 35 hours of respite care.

Our summer dates will be

July 8th-12th, 2024 in Lee's Summit at Abundant Life Church

and

July 22nd -26th, 2024 in Lenexa at Westside Family Church.

May Programs & Activities

Meaning through Music

May 7th 6:30-7:30

Music Group for all ages. This group is led by a board-certified music therapist working in special education. This 30-minute program is designed for the whole family to participate with one another. Individuals will have the opportunity before or after to explore the music and instruments.

SOAR Social Club - Lee Summit

May 2nd 6pm-8:30pm

SOAR Social Club Lee Summit meets the 1st Thursday of each month

located at Oakwood Baptist Church, 7600 Lee's Summit Rd, Kansas City, MO 64139.

This program is for individuals 18 and older who are high functioning individuals and able to function without support. We will learn to build community with our higher functioning teens and adults while sharing a meal, play games or watch a movie with one another.

Cost is $20 pp and includes dinner, games, activities, and staffing. (limited availability to attend)

SOAR Social Club Lenexa meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month

located at SOAR offices, 12201 W 88th Street, Lenexa, KS 66215.
