Broadbent Grüner Veltliner
Country: Austria
Region: Niederosterreich,
Varietal: 100% Grüner Veltliner
Ageing: Stainless steel
ABV: 12%
Grüner Veltliner made its first big splash on the American wine market a decade or so ago, when inexpensive, crisp, citrus-zipped white wines made from this grape variety began popping up on wine lists and retail shelves.
Its combination of refreshing, mouthwatering acidity, bright lemon-lime flavors, and hint of herbs made it appealing to fans of Sauvignon Blanc, yet it was different enough to set it apart. The wines are well-crafted and remarkably affordable.
Broadbent has partnered with family-owned wineries around the globe to produce wines rich with the essence of place and tradition. Broadbent wines represent authentic character and infinite pleasure. Our Grüner Veltliner is the perfect balance of elegant and delicious. Made for us by Markus Huber (we also proudly import Weingut Markus Huber wines), this liter bottle of Grüner Veltliner is one of the best values in our portfolio.
Pairings: Grüner Veltliner works brilliantly with vegetables, light fish and seafood, and fried foods. As it ages, a sense of nuttiness emerges, which allows it to work well alongside lightly caramelized dishes, too.
Our Price: $13.00 (1 Liter)

Wine Enthusiast 91 Points
"Young and vibrant, this has classic varietal aromas of red berries, rose, blue flowers and tilled earth. Tense and savory, the linear palate offers wild cherry, star anise and a hint of orange zest alongside lithe tannins."
Pairing: Ideal with appetizers, charcuterie, cheese, hot and cold pasta, meat dishes. lasagna, pizza. A very food friendly wine; it can be wonderfully enjoyed in different occasions, from a simple picnic to important meals as well.

Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch Bourbon
Proof: 90 Proof
Mashbill: 78% Corn, 12% Malted Barley, 10% Rye
Age: 6-8 Years Old
Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch honors the year that Evan Williams founded Kentucky’s First Distillery. Pulled from fewer than 200 barrels, this extra-aged small Batch Bourbon won the 2019 Consumers’ 2019 SIP Award.
Breaking Bourbon review: With bourbon prices skyrocketing and limited releases hard to find, Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch is a good reminder that sometimes you don’t have to pay much to be pleased. With an easygoing sip and a nicer looking bottle, Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch becomes a bourbon that I would recommend everyone give a try once. At worst you have a bourbon that you can experiment making cocktails with, however more likely than not, you’ll realize that you now have a bourbon that is straightforward and easy to enjoy. In fact this may become my go-to bourbon to give to individuals that are looking to explore the world of bourbon but don’t know where to start. If you haven’t explored the brand or it’s been a while since you have, give Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch a shot, as you may walk away pleasantly surprised.
