CAREGIVER CLASSES

The Dubin Center is a non-profit agency that has been providing specific programs in our community for over three decades. They are also a great resource for caregivers of loved ones with dementia. Through your donations to the Pelican Sound Charitable Foundation, we were able to give a grant to the Dubin Center last year to help them with their mission.

Over the next few weeks the Center is providing a course for caregivers. The course is offered in small groups where you will meet other local caregivers who are learning and sharing the journey of caregiving with you.

HIGHLIGHT

In 2023, a $10,000 grant from our Foundation funded Wheelchair Accessible Raised Garden Beds. Protected Harbor serves the needs of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through group homes and a Supported Living program for adults who do not need 24-hour assistance. This grant supported those residents.
