The Women's Trip Committee has put together an exciting itinerary with hotel accommodations in the heart of Nashville, tours to legendary country music venues and other iconic places, as well as a food tour, dinner cruise, day trip to Lynchburg, and a show at the Grand Ole Opry!

FRIDAY, SEPT. 26


Board coach in McPherson. Transfer to KC Airport for a nonstop flight to Nashville on Southwest Airlines. Flight departs KC at 2:15 pm and arrives in Nashville at 3:50 pm. Transfer via coach to Drury Inn Downtown Nashville. The hotel is located in the heart of "Music City" and guests enjoy free hot breakfast and free snacks/cold beverages at the 5:30 Kickback.


Group dinner at hotel this evening. Free time after dinner.   

SATURDAY, SEPT. 27


Discover Nashville Tour starts at 9:00 am. Bus will pick us up at our hotel. This is a driving tour of the major landmarks of the city including the State Capitol, the Parthenon and Music Row. The tour also includes a self-guided visit of Ryman Auditorium and a self-guided tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Approx. 3.5 hours


Free time this afternoon.


This evening, we will be seeing a show at the Grand Ole Opry. The Grand Ole Opry is celebrating its milestone 100th birthday in 2025 with a year long celebration! The show starts at 7:00pm. Roundtrip transportation is included. 

SUNDAY, SEPT. 28


Depart for Lynchburg at 9:00 am. Take a guided tour of the Jack Daniels Distillery. Stop off at the Barrel House and sip some of the most popular whiskeys and liqueurs. There will be time for lunch in Lynchburg. Return to hotel by 4:00pm.  Free time this evening. Here are a couple of options to consider.


  • Optional: Johnny Cash Museum Tour, open until 7:00 pm, $30/person
  • Optional: Two step and country swing dance class, 7:30 pm- $40/person.

MONDAY, SEPT. 29


Food Tour through downtown Nashville starting at 11:00 am. Prepare to be amazed as you stroll through the streets of Nashville. We will sample some of the most delicious food that Nashville has to offer.  Free time this afternoon.


This evening, we will do a dinner cruise on General Jacksons Showboat. This is a paddle wheel riverboat that cruises the Cumberland River. Enjoy a relaxing cruise, live stage show and a delicious dinner. Approx 2.5 hours. Roundtrip transportation is included. 

TUESDAY, SEPT. 30


Check out of hotel. Transportation to airport. Fly on Southwest Airlines to Wichita. Yes, although we flew out of KC, we will fly back into Wichita. These flights were chosen because of the better departure time, and the shorter transfer time back to McPherson via coach.

Quad: $2,000

$800 DEPOSIT DUE BY MARCH 1st.


2nd payment of $800 due by May 1st.


Final Trip Balance Due Aug. 1st.


All monies paid are non-refundable. A 3% fee will be added to payments made by credit card.
