Calling all crafters! We are in need of costume volunteers to help with upcoming projects like The Little Mermaid & Sweeney Todd. Activities include sewing, dyeing fabrics, puppet building, crocheting, designing & more! Email us for project details!

Bruce Carr, aka No Ordinary Balloon Man, is an award-winning balloon artist & proud SCT Alum! Having played the role of Ugly in SCT's first production of HONK!, Bruce is excited to return & celebrate this exceptional nonprofit organization. Bruce builds balloon creations for Disney, Universal, Kennedy Space Center, Build-A-Bear & more! An individual on the Autism Spectrum, Bruce speaks at the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities & The Hartwick Symposium, encouraging other neurodivergent individuals to pursue their passions. Bruce is building a special balloon sculpture to celebrate SCT's 20th & give back to the community theatre that fostered & encouraged his creativity as a child.

Teachers! Want to encourage your students to be strong, powerful, bold & brave when they face adversity? SCT is ready to visit your school with an original musical encouraging everyone to speak up when we notice harmful behaviors. Email for more info on scheduling a visit to your school or community center, plus a Study Buddy full of valuable classroom resources that can be used after the show!

No Ordinary Balloon Man: March 9th at the 3pm performance of Honk! See our lobby transformed by a balloon sculpture & take home some special balloon art!

Sweeney Todd, Student Edition: April 5-7 & April 12-14. Recommended for ages 12+ due to adult themes & the use of fake blood.

Dance for Musical Theatre Showcase: April 19 & 20, presented by Dance for Musical Theatre students 2nd-12th grades!

Airy Tales, SCT's Aerial Arts Showcase: April 26 & 27, presented by Aerial Arts students 5th-12th grades!

Disney's The Little Mermaid: Opening May 17 & sure to make a splash!

Our mission is to inspire, educate & entertain children & families through the experience of live theatre, both on & off the stage. We fulfill this mission through school field trips, after-school classes & community theatre events, but we can only continue these programs with the financial support of patrons like you.
