It's Our 21st Anniversary!
The Cat Gallery is 21 years old this week - we opened our doors in July 2001!
With customers around the UK (and the world), it is difficult to have a "party", so instead we supported a small local business by commissioning a 21st Anniversary cake to share with you visually.
As always, Charlie is in the middle of everything, with Alfie keeping out of his way. Either side of Charlie are Geoffrey and Ethel, the original Cat Gallery cats who were with us until 2014 and 2017 respectively.
This stunning cake, delivered minutes ago, has been lovingly handcrafted for us by Pina of The Cake Box, York. (Very highly rated on Facebook). If it tastes anywhere near as good as it looks, it will be delicious.

At the risk of sounding like long-winded, over emotional actors on Oscars night, Alison and I would very much like to thank:

YOU - without you and thousands like you, The Cat Gallery wouldn't exist. We love you all, whether you've recently discovered us or have been a customer for all of those 21 years (yes, there are quite a few who we haven't managed to shake off yet!!).

Our Wonderful Staff Members, Past & Present - From Mary & Lauren in our first York shop through to Zoe, Maeve and Grace helping to keep the show on the road in 2022, we couldn't have done it without you.

A special mention to our unsung fulfilment heroes at Etail who, since 2014, have done a superb job ensuring parcels arrive on time and in good condition. Not forgetting Amanda and team providing telephone support since 2021.

Thank you too to our Charity partners, suppliers, our understanding children (in a buggy in one of the videos and now both at University!), and our cats.
