In Person at the Fellowship, no zoom

Planning for your Ultimate Future!

Have you talked with your survivors about what you want when the time comes OR are you leaving them in the lurch?

John Thiemann used to say becoming a member of the FUNERAL CONSUMERS ALLIANCE OF MONTEREY BAY (FCAMB) is a gift to your survivors, even if they don’t want to talk about it.

How can you do this? Come to this service to help yourself and them plan and prepare so you don’t have to think about it anymore!

Worship Leader: Sylvia P. Forsyth, President FCAMB,
with Jeff Rudicill FCAMB Board Member

  Dance as a Spiritual Practice:

UUFSCC Community Minister, Rev. Terra Collier-Young and her husband, Scott Young, extend an invitation for members and friends to join in a somatic embodiment practice called Conscious Dance, held on Saturday mornings, 9:50-11:30am via Zoom.

This is an opportunity to participate in a musically motivated moving meditation, letting your body move as it is naturally inclined to and without judgement.

July Shared Plate Recipient

During July and August, UUFSCC will take half of the Sunday Collection to support our connection with COPA (Communities Organized for Relational Power in Action). COPA is a regional nonprofit organization spanning Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties, made up of 25 member institutions of churches, synagogues, public schools, school districts, and nonprofits. COPA helps to identify the issues that are of concern to people in our communities and then helps us work in solidarity for positive change.
