Instant Decision & Registration Day

Take the steps to enroll for the Fall Semester all in one day at an Instant Decision & Registration Day, August 1, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., in the Event Center. Fall Semester classes begin August 30.

Information Sessions

Get all of your questions about RVCC answered at an Information Session. Learn about the admissions process and tour the campus. Upcoming events focus on the Automotive & Beauty programs and paying for college. There’s also a special session scheduled titled “I’ve Applied, What’s Next.”
Register for Fall Classes

It’s not too late to register for Fall Semester classes. Applying is free! Classes start August 30.
Princeton Transfer Scholars Initiative

Eleven RVCC students have been selected to participate in Princeton University’s Transfer Scholars Initiative this summer, a pilot program for community college students based at Princeton’s Emma Bloomberg Center for Access & Opportunity.
Golf Classic Raises Over $135,000

The RVCC Foundation raised over $135,000 at the 19th Annual RVCC Foundation Golf Classic, held last month at the Stanton Ridge Golf & Country Club in Whitehouse Station. The RVCC Foundation is the fundraising arm of the College. Net proceeds raised from the golf outing and auctions will support student scholarships, RVCC’s education programming, and other institutional priorities.
Transformational Gift for Nursing Students

RVCC has received a second historic gift from the Somerset Hills Community Health Foundation (SHCHF) in support of the College's Nursing students. The $90,000 donation to the RVCC Foundation has been announced by the Community Foundation of New Jersey. As with last year’s $100,000 gift, the new commitment will fund 10 full scholarships, at $7,500 each, with an additional $15,000 to be used to help offset textbook and Nursing program expenses for dozens of other Nursing students.
Engineering Scholarship

Liam Boyle of High Bridge has received a scholarship award from the New Jersey Society of Professional Engineers. Boyle, a Mechanical Engineering major who graduated from RVCC Summa Cum Laude in May, was a member of the Honors College and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He received the Academic Award for Engineering Science. This fall, Boyle plans to continue his studies in Mechanical Engineering at Princeton University.
Robeson Achievement Awards

Middle and high school students from Somerset and Hunterdon counties were honored for their achievements at the 32nd Annual Paul Robeson Youth Achievement Awards at RVCC. The event was sponsored by the College’s Paul Robeson Institute for Ethics, Leadership and Social Justice.
Train Station Tunnel Mural

Students from the Arts & Design department, led by their professor, Ji Yong Kim, recently completed a 2,000-square-foot mural at the Bound Brook New Jersey Transit station tunnel.
Authentic Engineering Experience

During the 2022-2023 school year, several RVCC students participated in the “Authentic Engineering Experience,” in which they created real products for an actual client.
Planetarium


The RVCC Planetarium is presenting star and laser shows for all ages this summer.
