Congratulations to Teagan Farrow '24, Stella Johnson '23 and Ryann Toussaint '24 who had artwork selected for exhibition in the James Pearson Duffy Department of Art & Art History 2023 Tri-County High School Exhibition at Wayne State University. Their pieces will be on display January 27, 2023 - February 3, 2023. What a wonderful creative achievement!

FATHER-DAUGHTER DANCE

Hosted by the Junior Class of 2024


Plans are underway for the Mercy Annual Father-Daughter Dance hosted by the Junior Class. Save the date for "Snow Ball" the evening of Saturday, February 4, 2023! Join us for a night of games, music, competitions, and so much more. All students, alumnae, and their male father-figure/role model guests are welcome. Information on ticket sales will be coming in January via announcements and emails from the Junior Class Officers and Junior Class Moderators.

"Finding your Purpose"

The Archdiocese of Detroit will once again be hosting RISE Detroit, a gathering of high school youth at Mercy High School. At RISE, high schoolers will unpack the theme, “Finding Your Purpose” based on Jer. 29:11: "For I know well the plans I have in mind for you… plans for your welfare and not for woe, so as to give you a future of hope."

All 9-12th graders are invited to attend RISE! All attending teens must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (youth minister, high school campus minister, teacher, pastor, parent, etc.).

The speakers include Katie Prejean McGrady, Bishop Battersby, Fr. Adam Nowak, Fr. Craig Giera, and Sr. Felicity Madigan. Activities include keynotes, powerful praise and worship experiences, two breakout sessions, small group discussion, and Liturgy!


Standard Admission: $35 for all participants: teens and adults. Includes lunch and dinner!

The Archdiocese of Detroit Office of Family Ministry is pleased to introduce Compass, a new resource for parents. Compass aims to anticipate the needs of Catholic parents, accompany them through the trials and joys of family life, and point them to faithful answers to life's difficult questions. It is an online catalog for parents and caregivers to find articles, books, videos, and other resources to help navigate difficult conversations, life stages, and challenges they face in raising children.

Marlin Shop

The Marlin Shop will re-open Wednesday, January 11 and resume normal business hours after school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Quarter zips are available for purchase for $35. Cash, check, credit card and Apple Pay accepted.
