Meet the Staff!

Crystal Shanley is our AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Portage & Stark County program staff; working with the RSVP sector for nearly 11 years and going on 18 years as an employee with Family & Community Services. Her journey with the agency started much earlier as she was a volunteer with their local clothing center in Ravenna by the age of 14 and the rest is history. Crystal has a heart for service and continues her work in the community as a Brimfield Lions Club member since 2014; holding officer positions and supporting the newly established “Community Outreach Program” through the Lions Club. When you can’t find Crystal running around Portage and Stark counties meeting new volunteers and community partners, she enjoys her downtime with her closest family & friends. Her personal motto is “Do what you love, love what you do” and she strives to live out that mission every single day.”
