About Our Panel:

Sherré DeMao, CGS,  is CEO and BizGrowth Maestro of BizGrowth Inc, an award-winning strategy firm specializing in next-level, next-idea solutions for entrepreneurs and leaders to build preferential value, exponential worth, and marketplace prosperity.  A past NAWBO chapter president (1999-2000), and WBO award winner, nationally acclaimed author, speaker, organizational growth expert, and impassioned researcher, she is currently conducting a groundbreaking study linking a company's stock value to corporate culture. She has been featured in Huffington Post’s Thrive Global as a Woman of the C-Suite, and was inducted into the Evolutionary Business Council, a global consortium of thought leaders in 2019. Her most recent book, Dream Wide Awake: Shifting from Daydreaming to Dream Doing was released internationally in 2020 and was selected for the National Association of Women in Construction’s Leadership Book Club. Her next books, The Profitability Quotient, and The Prosperity Imperative are expected to be released in 2023.

Judy Hovis is the principal owner of telecom/technology consulting firm Network Communications Group.  She was one of four founding partners of Access Point, Inc., a multi-million dollar company formerly located in Cary, NC until sold to GTT International.  A former Past President of NAWBO (2003-04) and a winner of Business Journal’s Women in Business award, she is currently a historical fiction writer and published author.  While with NAWBO, she was part of a team of four members who created and developed the Extreme Mentor program for upcoming businesswomen, earning her an additional award from her NAWBO chapter.  She is a published author of historical fiction and continues to operate her own Communnications company.

Delaine Mead is the owner and managing Principal of Relocation Strategies Charlotte & VBI-Valuebiz Office Interiors Furniture. She began operating ValueBiz in 2005, and added Relocation Strategies in 2006. Together, the combined businesses give her a strong advantage in the market place, and she has grown her businesses into international companies.  When she began her career she was one of the few women in the business, and she continues to succeed in a largely male-dominated field.  She was named NAWBO Woman Business Owner of the Year in 2012 and served as Chapter President 2012-2013.   She has received numerous other awards including: Charlotte Business Journal 25 Women in Business Award, NC Women’s Business Advocate of the Year Award Recipient ~ U.S. Small Business Administration, Stevie Award Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Business Products – 11 to 2,500 Employees, Awarded #32 out of Top 50 Women Owned Businesses in North Carolina, Awarded Top 50 Most Influential Women - Mecklenburg Times.
