As our hearts break and we pray for the families of those killed at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX some of you may want to also give donations. According to staff at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Uvalde, the best way to donate is to give to the Robb School Memorial Fund. Checks should be made payable to “Robb School Memorial Fund” and should be mailed to 200 E. Nopal St. Uvalde, TX 78801. Funds can also be donated through Zelle using the email address robbschoolmemorialfund@gmail.com

Jeffrey Mello, Rector of Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, Brookline, Massachusetts, was elected on May 21 as the 16th bishop of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut, pending the required consents from a majority of bishops with jurisdiction and standing committees of the Episcopal Church. Read the full announcement here.

On June 5^th we will celebrate Youth Sunday. This will be a chance to celebrate the end of another school year for all of our young people and we will hear remarks from our two graduating high school Seniors, ChiChi Onoh and Celine Stephens. This will also be the last Sunday of the Choir School Season. Please plan to be here that Sunday to support our young people and show our appreciation to the Choir School.

There will be one service only at 9:30 am on 12 June.

The Annual Meeting will begin after that service.

Trinity's young people in grades 8-12 are invited to attend Heads Up! Hartford, a week-long summer camp uniting urban and suburban youth to improve our communities and develop as leaders. The camp will take place from June 22-29 at the Ethel Walker School in Simsbury. Each day, campers participate in community service, worship, fellowship and recreational activities.

The deadline to apply for HUH is June 5th, so now's the time to act! Registration can be done online or by mail; forms are available at headsuphartford.org

Families are asked to contribute $75 toward the cost of attending, but Trinity funds the rest. Trinity's youth have been to this camp over many years, as campers and as counselors, and have found it to be a valuable and fun experience.

ECCT is partnering with the Kaleidoscope Institute to offer an anti-racism course taking place on June 4,5,11, and 12. Attendance is required at all four sessions. There is no cost to attend but there is limited space.

A member of our parish, Jacqui Lucier has advanced kidney disease and is in need of a transplant.
