Holy Saturday: No More Deaths: A memorial vigil for those who have died on our streets. 1:00 p.m. March 30 at First UMC.

Easter Sunday: 8:00, 9:15 and 11:30 a.m. March 31. The 9:15 and 11:30 a.m. services will be livestreamed on YouTube.

Easter Monday: The church office will be closed on April 1.

Meatloaf's 2024 debut

Wednesday Night Supper returns this week, and Meatloaf and Millionaire Bars are on the menu. Join us from 5:15 to 6:00, with regular programming to follow.

Clothes party

Aimee Sudbeck will be collecting items for a Gender Affirming Clothes Party at University Alaska Anchorage. Bring cute clothing donations to St. John on Wednesday, April 17.

Invitation to Group Soul Care

Does your soul feel weary or disconnected? Would you like to connect deeper with God and others but are unsure how to? Group Soul Care is an opportunity to learn how to listen to others and oneself so that we can be better guests in each other’s stories as well as our own. Colleen Runty will be the spine for the group offering support, structure, and safety. Groups will be limited to 4-5 individuals. Schedules will be determined based on group members' availability, and location (Zoom or in-person) will be determined upon group preference. A definite desire and ability to attend consistently is needed to support group cohesiveness. If this feels like a spiritual nudge, contact Colleen Runty for more information.
