The Scout motto is "Be Prepared" and our hope is that we can better prepare our leaders (and future leaders) with a super special North Star District monthly newsletter!

Every month we will communicate upcoming events and other important info. This newsletter is open to current leaders and parents of Scouters, so please feel free to share and encourage others to subscribe!

Roundtable is Moving!

Beginning in AUGUST 2023, Roundtable will take place at Benson Memorial United Methodist Church, 4706 Creedmoor Road, Raleigh NC 27612.

We are very grateful to St. Andrews Presbyterian for hosting our monthly events the past 2 years. And thank you to Benson Memorial United Methodist Church for opening your doors to us!

Help Wanted!

Every Unit deserves a Unit Commissioner and our District has a goal of 100% Commissioner Coverage! We're currently halfway there and hope to have a full staff well in time for recharter!

Who should be a Unit Commissioner?

Someone with a passion for Scouting
Someone who is stepping down or has already stepped away from a leader role and looking to help out in other areas

Why?

Scouters are inherently helpful- it's in our Oath and Law!
It's fun!
By helping units, you're helping leaders, which is a direct line of sight to the youth. That's what it's all about!
