Winter Holiday Closures


The Library will be closed on Saturday, December 31st, and remain closed through Monday, January 2nd in observance of the New Year Holiday.


Access to the wide variety of content available in our Virtual Library will continue to be accessible during this time. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, January 3rd at 9:00am.

Town of Merrimack Community Food Drive


The Annual Town of Merrimack Food Drive is coming to an end. Through the month of December, several drop off locations across Merrimack have been collecting non-perishable food items to be donated in assisting families this holiday season. These drop off locations include the Merrimack Public Library, The Merrimack Police Station, and more. Final drop off for food items at the Merrimack Public Library will be Saturday, December 30, 2022.

Resident Fast Facts


The Merrimack Town Hall will be closed on Monday, January 2nd in observance of the New Year holiday. As a reminder, town of Merrimack property tax bills are due on December 30, 2022.


The Merrimack Public Library would like to thank all of our patrons that donated to the Merrimack Lioness Club's "Operation Santa" tree. With your donations, the Lioness Club was able to assist over 20 families in have a merry and bright holiday season!


The Merrimack Department of Public Works has announced that the Pine Knoll Shores Stormwater Planning Study is now complete. The study, approved by voters through a fully funded grant, developed concepts and estimates for collecting and treating stormwater in the Pine Knoll Shores subdivision, and recommends paving the roads to help in the water quality improvement initiative for Baboosic Lake.
