On Saturday night we will celebrate Vail Christian High School’s silver jubilee – 25 years of God’s faithfulness and blessings. If you’re unable to attend 1998 ReMix, you can still participate through the Silent Auction with over 100 items. Bidding ends early Saturday night.
With this milestone VCHS anniversary, it’s important for us to reflect back – to tell stories from the past and to express gratitude for what we have today. In doing that, it reminds us of who we are and what we value as we continue to forge new and exciting paths into the future.
In a Psalm, King David put it this way – One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your might acts. And that’s what we’re doing this school year. We’re declaring His might acts by threading the needle back to the 1990s, when VCHS was founded in 1998 with thirty-two pioneering students. Today, we are the largest faith-based high school in Colorado west of the Front Range with an enrollment approaching 160 students. With this year’s graduating class, our alumni community will exceed 600.
We celebrate that we remain on mission equipping mind, body, and spirit – providing our graduates with a Foundation for Life and a VCHS Family Forever. We celebrate our amazing VCHS family – students, parents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty and staff, and friends. My heart is filled with gratitude to lead such an extraordinary school and be part of the Saints family!
