COMPASSION SUNDAY

On April 14, you will be able to select a child to sponsor and bless, for only $43/month. Please prayerfully consider being part of this wonderful outreach of Christian love!

ADULT MISSION TRIP

June 23 – 27, Conroe, TX

Each year there are about 100 natural disasters in the US. These include wildfires, floods, droughts, heat waves, cold waves, tornadoes and hurricanes. The cost of natural disasters is over $100 billion per year, and countless people are left homeless and without possessions as a result.

The Mission Center in Conroe, a mission of the Texas Conference, responds to such disasters with pre-assembled kits that serve immediate needs. They include adult and child backpacks, feminine hygiene kits, and flood buckets. In 2023, 200 Mission Center volunteers assembled and verified $121,859 worth of emergency relief kits, 82% of which were prepared by AUMC members. We served a total of 1,763 people through our mission trips to Conroe. We are doing God’s work in Conroe!

If you would like to be part of this critical mission, please join us for four days in Conroe.

  • June 23-27
  • no trip fee; individual expenses are hotels and meals
  • deadline is June 2, 2024 or when filled

Sign up HERE, or contact Alicia Henze at arhenze@aol.com or Peggy Badlato at pbadlato@att.net for more information.
