What's Happening at Your Library

WELCOME JENNIFER!

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer MacLeod has joined the staff as our new Youth Services Librarian. Jennifer’s former position was with the Hampstead Public Library where she spent the last four years as the Head of Youth Services. Prior to her Hampstead position, Jennifer was Youth Services Librarian at the Gilmanton Year-Round Library.

Jennifer is a Lakes Region native and lives in Gilmanton with her husband and four children. She loves to travel and adventure in nature with her family. Together, they have visited thirty states and a wide variety of national parks and historic sites. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, crafting, kayaking, casual hiking, and Family History research. She loves creating library programs and finding the best new books for kids of all ages. Her favorite books are historical fiction, but she also enjoys the occasional thriller, cozy mystery, non-fiction, or YA read. She enjoys a wide variety of children’s literature ranging from Elephant and Piggie to Harry Potter. We hope you'll get a chance to meet Jennifer soon!
